Editorial Policy

HellaGood Marketing covers the gambling, crypto, esports, and gaming industries. Our job is to give readers information that is accurate, easy to follow, and actually useful when it comes time to make a decision. This page explains how we create and maintain our content, and how we handle the commercial side of running a website like this. Everything we publish falls under this policy.

Editorial Independence

Editorial decisions here belong to editors and writers. Nobody else has a say.

Advertisers and affiliate partners have no say in what we cover, how we cover it, or what conclusions we reach. A partner cannot ask for friendlier coverage, rewrite our conclusions, or buy a better rating.

If a platform we work with commercially performs badly in our testing, the review reflects that.

Accuracy and Editorial Standards

Getting things right matters more to us than publishing fast. Before an article goes live, we research it properly and remove anything that sounds misleading or untrue.

If a bonus comes with restrictive terms, we tell you. The same applies to features that only work in certain situations.

We rely on official sources wherever possible and keep the language simple, so readers don’t have to decode a review to understand what they’re signing up for.

Sources and Verification

When we verify information, we start with the most authoritative sources and work down: official websites, platform documentation, terms and conditions, help centers, licensing information, and public announcements. Other credible public sources come into play where they add something.

When a piece of information cannot be reasonably verified, it is either flagged as unverified or left out. We’d rather publish less than publish something we can’t back up.

Fact-Checking

Before publication, we check the details readers actually care about: bonus amounts, wagering requirements, payment methods, licensing, promo codes, platform features.

This industry moves fast. An article that was accurate in January can be outdated by March, which is why we keep going back to published content.

When a platform changes its bonuses or terms, or regulations shift, the article is updated to match. Our full scoring process is outlined on our How We Rate Sites page.

Reviews and Comparisons

Where we can test a product hands-on, we do. Where we cannot, we dig through official documentation instead.

Either way, rankings and ratings come from editorial research, never from compensation. A platform’s position in one of our comparisons shows how it performed against our criteria, nothing more.

The criteria themselves shift depending on the category. A crypto casino gets judged on different things than a CS2 gambling site or a gaming service, so each product type is measured against standards that actually fit it. That is the only way comparisons stay fair.

Advertising, Affiliate Links, and Sponsored Content

Some pages on our site contain affiliate links, and we may earn a commission if you sign up or deposit through one of them. Using an affiliate link does not change the terms offered by the platform or influence our opinions, ratings, or rankings.

More detail is available on our Affiliate Disclosure page.

Sponsored content, promotional articles, and press releases are always labeled and kept apart from our editorial work. You should never have to guess whether something was written independently or paid for by a partner.

Conflicts of Interest

Writers and contributors have to disclose any financial or professional relationships tied to the topics they cover.

When a conflict exists, one of two things happens: it gets clearly disclosed in the content, or the writer steps away from that topic entirely. Simple rule, but it keeps our evaluations honest.

Updates and Corrections

Published content gets reviewed regularly and updated when something important changes. Usually that means revised bonus terms, new payment methods, licensing changes, or a significant platform update.

Factual errors get corrected as soon as we find them. The editorial team handles corrections, and meaningful changes show up in the updated content.

Accuracy does not stop being our responsibility once an article goes live.

Use of AI Tools

Our team sometimes uses AI tools for research or early drafting. What we never do is publish unreviewed AI output.

Every article passes through a human editor who reviews, fact-checks, and refines it before publication. Final responsibility for accuracy and editorial judgment sits with our team.
