What makes your top favorite game so enjoyable for you?

I have been playing Dota since the early days, and I still remember I had to make up an excuse to skip school cause I got the invite to play the beta version of Dota 2. This game, even though I hate it to bits on certain days, I'm always going back. I'm just addicted to it you can say.
